Aikido
The Aikido section offers a permanent range of self-defense (Aikido, self-protection and self-defense), relaxation (Qigong, Tai-Chi, Yoga) and fitness (Aroha) courses
Badminton
is the fastest ball sport in the world. A smash ball from a good player can easily reach over 300 km/h. So badminton is all about skill and speed. Nevertheless, it is easy to learn and even complete beginners can join in the game in no time at all.
Basketball
We are a recreational team where the focus is on having fun. We took part in our first tournament this year, with more to follow. Anyone interested is welcome to come along at any time during training or contact Elias Hamann in advance.
Fitness
A wide range of activities for beginners, those returning to the sport and sports enthusiasts. Some of the activities are organized as courses, but most of them always take place. You can be active here four days a week, almost all year round, as we are not affected by hall closures during the school vacations (with the exception of the closure of Campus North over Christmas/New Year). Sport without detours, very close to your workplace at Campus North.
Prevention
We are an older group and some of us have slight handicaps. That's why we focus on prevention and exercising together. Our weekly changing exercise focuses are: Back exercises, pelvic floor exercises, functional gymnastics, cardiovascular training, Tai Chi, Qigong, Indian Balance, Pilates, Feldenkrais, autogenic training
Scuba diving
A beginner's course opens up the underwater world to beginners. For advanced divers we offer all specialty courses including Nitrox, up to gold diver ***. All the necessary equipment is available.
Diving in the local lakes is fun, but the diving trips to the Mediterranean are always a highlight.
The sociable conclusion takes place in our divers' meeting place, Haid- und Neu-Strasse 1.
Ski
We train general fitness throughout the year to maintain our flexibility and stamina when skiing and in all other areas of life.
Soccer
Enthusiastic footballers of all ages and professions enjoy the game without a strict training program. Friendly matches with other recreational teams are played in preparation for participation in tournaments.
Table Tennis
You can play with us just for fun or take part in the TTV Karlsruhe (company round). You almost never have to watch if you want to be active. There are 6 TT tables available. Tournaments can be held in our own hall.
Tennis
We offer amateur and competitive sports for young and old on a feel-good facility. Intensive youth work with professional coaches, taster training for all levels and many social events are part of our offer.
