Martial art Aikido

Aikido is a Japanese form of non-competitive self-defence in which the opponent's strength is redirected into circular movements. Weight and body size hardly play a role. Targeted physical training, meditative elements as well as concentration, breathing and falling exercises are included in the training programme. Aikido is a martial art that trains all organs and the cardiovascular system.

Self-protection and self-defence

We primarily teach realistic self-defence. This means that we use targeted punches and kicks as well as levers and nerve presses to defend ourselves against attacks of all kinds. The training is suitable for everyone, but especially for children and young people, for whom it is fun to come to training in addition to gaining self-confidence and the ability to defend themselves.

Aroha fitness

Aroha is a full-body workout in 3/4 time with lively movements, combined with techniques from kung fu, karate, taiji and haka (Maori war dance in New Zealand), accompanied by rousing music. Train strength, endurance, flexibility and coordination in 60 minutes. Strengthen your cardiovascular system, burn calories and reduce fat. Let yourself be pulled along by the continuous beat of 130 bpm and train your sense of rhythm.

Qigong

Qigong is a Chinese form of meditation, concentration and movement for body and mind, which is also part of traditional Chinese medicine and a successful self-healing method.

Tai-Chi

Tai-Chi is a system of movement training originating from China. The aim of Tai Chi is to achieve physical and mental health. It consists of soft, flowing and harmonious movements and is used for relaxation, balance, body coordination and flexibility.

Yoga

Yoga is a millennia-old science that looks at the human being as a whole and is therefore still valid and successfully applicable today. All experiences are only impulses for further development. You get to know your own strengths and weaknesses, train your body and mind, develop strength, stamina, flexibility and concentration.
