The 14th Winter Atomiade for skiing enthusiasts from European research centers and associated sports clubs took place from March 15 to 22, 2025, in Reit im Winkl. The preparation and organization were carried out by the management committee of ASCERI, with Christoph Wilhelm as the organizer of the sports competitions and the driving force behind the preparation and execution of the fun events and parties. Rachel Bray, the chairwoman of the ASCERI management committee, had the awards ceremony confidently in her hands.
The sports group KIT was involved with four people. We came away with a silver medal in snowboard slalom. Unfortunately, the cross-country competitions were completely canceled due to a lack of snow at the Chiemgau Arena in Ruhpolding, so there was nothing to be gained there. The next event is the Mini-Atomiade in Genk, Belgium, next year, see Asceri - Mini-Atomiade 2026 - Genk, Belgium. It will take place from June 5th to 8th, 2026. The sports to be held have not yet been published. You can orient yourselves by looking at past Mini-Atomiades.
